I agree with you on that on some flashes, but you must remember that flashes are around to entertain people, so if a bunch of sprites moving around entertains then so be it. Apart from that, not all sprite movies are bad, and trying to get people to limit their flashes to hand drawn is a lost cause. Basically you are partially right, but you took it to the extreme, so much so that it seems irrational. I say this because a couple of the flashes you made fun of were actually good ones (ex. Super Mario Bros Z), I don't like it because i'm some hardcore dbz fan, but because it is well set up and the storyline is going somewhere.

Just try to get along with other flash types, I enjoy them all the same; though hand drawn is definitely more appealing to me, a good flash maker can make a sprite movie look excellent. Maybe you should direct your supposed anger towards some of the more horrible flashes that fail to entertain and inevitably earn low scores because of that.

On the movie itself, you did okay, I found it pretty funny. I can see where you are coming from with that. I could tell from this movie that you have much talent, but you probably did this movie so quickly that any other person would say otherwise. Some people fail to see when a person is giving their all and when they are not, I saw many foolish reviews saying things like "you have no talent".

So, although it was hardly anything special, I see you were trying to send a message, and so I will give you a 4.

I also have some islander blood in me, and I must say that I found this very refreshing. I liked the humor in this (it was mainly the old man). Also, the music (especially the beginning one) was very good. This is good enough to make a sequel for, with a longer and different storyline and more abilities. One thing you can do for a sequel is make it possible to make the boss flinch when they are about to do a certain attack.

Great game, it's a theme that I don't see often in games. I am really looking forward for a second one!

That pretty much sums it up, very creative. One thing that particularly had me laughing was the invention that makes inanimate objects physically aware of themselves, it's so diabolically evil yet he doesn't seem to care, hilarious. I loved it, very abstract and random, that's refreshing because it wasn't mindless randomness. Keep up your amazing work.

It has been a while since I could truly appreciate a sprite movie, the whole thing just totally blew my mind. Your command of special effects is awesome, so there is not much I can say about this, because it is flawless in my eyes. At this point the most important thing is the storyline, keep introducing new characters and background stories for them to keep the story fresh. It was nice that you added humor to it just before the fight, and something that made me laugh was when the Ninja Koopas were being smacked around in the air, just when you think its over it continues. Another funny thing was luigi walking all around the map, hilarious.

Fantastic work on succeeding on this amazing flash.

You have potential, I congratulate you on having the guts to come right out and make flashes about the Legend of Zelda. Now I have some tips for you to help you improve on this. First, the black dialogue boxes are difficult to read, you need to make them brighter because some parts are hard to distinguish from the dark backgrounds. Next thing is that you need to think of the best possible scenes and dialogue for each part so that the story flows better (so as not to be corny). Also a good thing to do is to give the audience a feel of how the scene is, you can help this along by scrolling through the area where the scene is happening (you can find other ways, such as focusing the camera on something unrelated but within the area during a conversation). The flash was good, as long as you keep making flashes, you will naturally progress in skill (try following my advice to get in the right direction). Good work on this, keep it up!

I agree with the person before me, it may look simple, but it isn't. Don't criticize too hard unless you have tried it before and it came easy to you, and even then a little humility never hurt. Those who cannot do choose to criticize.
