It's an aristocrats joke - but in reversed format, instead of the shocking part coming first and the unshocking part coming last, the unshocking part comes first and the shocking part comes last. Nice, though maybe he could have come up with a less offensive final line, since this could be misunderstood by some. Nevertheless, you did a good job on animating the joke.

The animation was wonderful, with somewhat of an anime style. I also thing the music mixed well with it (loved the music btw). I await the day where I can reach this level of mastery, and when I get a drawing tablet. Excellent work, it's well worth finishing.

It needs more in terms of story. It is simple enough, which is how a short plot should be, but you can come up with something better than this. I understand what you were going for, but as others said, the music didn't seem right, and you could work on the animation more. The walk cycle seemed a bit stiff, now I know that you would say "that was the style i was going for," but the type of stiffness I saw didn't seem like a style at all. Don't let the bad reviews discourage you, though, be open minded use them to improve your skills.

To some guy before me:
Since when are cartoons better when they make little to no sense? Those may be entertaining sometimes and in some cases but there have been many cartoons that had a good plot and were still funny. A bad/boring plot or lack thereof can ruin a cartoon and make it less appealing. What is the point of doing something if it doesn't make sense? How can you express yourself through art and animation if they don't make sense? If all a person wants is to express themselves then they have no use for feedback at all, which you just gave in the middle of that rant. It is also possible for a person with more skill to criticize a less skilled person's work, so instead of insulting a potentially skilled person, you should just agree to disagree.

On the flash...

I really like the story in this, but the animation could use some work. If you could work on making the animation more fluent, it would improve the flash greatly. To make it even better, throw in some frame by frame to mix it up a bit and make it more exciting and spontaneous (if you can, that is). Great work with the story, just keep it up and work on the look and animation :]

Even though it could have had more of a plot, and the voice syncing was a bit off, it deserves a better score than 2.80. The animation was good enough to see that you know what you're doing here. What's basically missing here is plot development (it doesn't have to be a complex plot or anything). Also, try not to skip things like the car crash, and if you do, it would be better to find a subtle way to transition to it that doesn't result in people saying, "what just happened? Oh."

Don't be such a jerk, just because it's not your sort of thing doesn't mean you have to be so harsh about it. You call it "random Japanese music" because you probably don't even touch that kind of music, and that is called being biased. You could come out with all of your own likes/hobbies and I guarantee a number of people will dislike every one of them. Even so, you should judge fairly instead of just dropping a low score and telling someone to get a life because you don't share their likes.

On the flash - it was well animated, although you picked one of the more slow paced endings. Not much else to say except it was decent.

At first, I didn't get the meaning. But after some thought, I finally understood. Then I read the comment you left again and realized the ironic hilarity of it all. The man is offering the other man these nice things, but when he realizes that this man doesn't want these nice things, and instead mindless violence, he angrily gives the man what the man wants - since he has no appreciation for the good things. By saying this is specially for Newgrounds, you are implying that the generic NG viewer feels that gore and violence is what makes a good flash, and is unappreciative of deep, meaningful things.

A lot of these people reviewing your flash are not realizing what it really is about - probably fooled by your claim that this flash has no meaning or sense.

Brilliant. I'm giving this a 5.

I like how you put such meaning into your flashes without giving it away in your comments - instead letting us figure it out ourselves. What I saw in this - despite the feeling that I'm missing some required knowledge - was that the first ones on Mars (the Mafia) ruled with their weapons (hence the guy masturbating in his gun, basically saying that he uses it alot). When the second group came (the Aliens), they beat the Mafia, but in doing so, they became no better than the Mafia was in terms of the way they ruled, and on goes the cycle of tyranny. The parts I didn't seem to get was with the bird and its pole - I'm guessing it represents a country? Anyway, very well thought out and animated, and the music fit your abstract style very well - 10/10, as I can't see any kind of flaws in this seeing as it looks so professionally done. Things like these deserve to be 5'd, and that's exactly what I'll do. Thanks for this intriguing flash :]
